Since the creation of this new model of Government, Artemisa Province has been developing the investment process, incorporating the use of Decree 327/14; which endowed the investment process with essential elements, tempered to the updating conditions of the economic model; putting end to the legislative dispersion in this matter.

Rehabilitation, remodeling, replacement, capital repair, restoration, expansion and modernization actions are considered investments.

The construction sector includes, among other activities, engineering-geological investigations applied to construction; the elaboration of designs for construction and assembly activities; the construction of civil, industrial, engineering, berthing and dredging works; as well as the production and marketing of construction materials and other products.

For 7 years after having been created, our Province has been working (as a priority within the investment and maintenance plan) on all the infrastructure: roads, electricity networks andhydro-sanitary networks; as the main actions to be carried out for an economic and social development of the Province.

The Province continues the investment process of great social impact works, among which the following works -by municipalities- stand out:

  • Continuity of the Manuel González Polyclinic in Bahia Honda municipality, with a 400 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Mariel Polyclinic in Mariel municipality,with a 300 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Continuity of Vicente Mora Theater in Guanajay municipality, with a 150 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Continuity of José Ramón Martínez Pediatric Hospital capital repair in Guanajay municipality, with a 158.81 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Continuity of Mártires de Tarara School in Bauta municipality, with a 250 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Rehabilitation of the east area sewerage network in Bauta municipality, with a 735 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Continuity of sewer and Las Margaritas oxidation lagoon rehabilitation in Bauta municipality, with a 1,050 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Continuity of Eduardo Abela School in San Antonio de los Baños municipality, with a 400 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Rehabilitation of Batalla de Jijiga School network in San Antonio de los Baños municipality, with a 393.05 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • “Cuenteros” rehabilitation in San Antonio de los Baños municipality, with a 200 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Continuity of Yemen-Artemisa Polytechnic in Artemisa municipality, with a 450 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Continuity of Teatro Juárez capital repair in Artemisa municipality, with a 1,600 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Continuity of Waterloo Conductive rehabilitation (Artemisa’s water supplier); which has an approved plan of 1,119.51 OMP for this present year 2018 in total currency.
  • “El Rancho” -community in Artemisa-has a water supply system; which was approved a plan of 355.20 OMP, for this year 2018as total currency.
  • Campismo Caridad Clinic in Candelaria municipality, with a 26.31 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • “El Brujito” Clinic in Candelaria municipality, with a 26.31 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Continuity of Teacher Training Networks in San Cristóbal municipality, with a 401.94 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Continuity of Maternal Home in San Cristóbal municipality, with a 350 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Incinerator in San Cristóbal municipality, with a 70 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Assembly of a pumping equipment, with a 348.70 approved plan as total amount.
  • Well drilling, with a 824.3 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Measuring meters, with a 262.5 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • GEARH macro measurement program, with a 157.5 OMP approved plan as total amount
  • Continuity of Ariguanabo access road, with a 1,050 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • Continuity of Artemisa access road from the highway, with a 1,352.12 OMP approved plan as total amount.
  • “Theater of the Assembly”, with a 200 OMP approved plan as total amount.
