The member of the Political Bureau and Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero Cruz, chaired this Thursday's meeting of the Government's temporary working group for the prevention and control of the new coronavirus pandemic, where the enlistment of the Digital Certificate of vaccination against the COVID-19.

The head of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), José Ángel Portal Miranda, explained that the virtual card will be available starting this Monday, February 14, when it will be launched.It is a service that in its initial stage could be considered as a test and those interested in the matter can find all the information on the agency's website, https://salud.msp.gob.cu.

The digitalization of the immunization process already covers around 80 percent of the population vaccinated with the complete schedule. Users will be able to download the document to their cell phones and will also be able to print them.

Dr. Portal Miranda reported that people who cannot access their document, because they are not yet ready due to some delays that are accumulating in various territories, should go to their polyclinics to request its digitization.As usual, the meeting of the Government's temporary working group for the prevention and control of the pandemic met via videoconference. The Head of the Government of the Republic interacted with political and government authorities of the 15 provinces and the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud, who reported on the epidemiological situation in their territories.

The exchange was attended by the deputy prime ministers Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz and Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella, as well as ministers, ministers and other authorities.
