The Electric Union informs that the effects on the service are expected to continue throughout today, with a maximum effect of 400 MW.

In its daily press release, it specifies that the availability of the National Electric System at 07:00 hours is 1,940 MW and the demand is 2,145 MW with 285 MW affected.

“Yesterday, starting at 9:00 a.m., the service began to be affected due to a generation capacity deficit, the most affected during peak hours was 270 MW at 8:40 p.m. The effects on the service have been maintained throughout the early hours of today.

According to the UNE, units 6 and 7 of the CTE Máximo Gómez, unit 3 of the CTE Ernesto Guevara, units 4 and 5 of the CTE Diez de Octubre and units 3 and 4 are out of service due to breakdowns. of the CTE Antonio Maceo.

Under maintenance are unit 8 of the CTE Máximo Gómez, unit of the CTE Otto Parellada and unit 2 of the CTE Lidio Ramón Pérez. The limitations in thermal generation (421 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 1,121 MW are unavailable due to breakdown and 194 MW are undergoing maintenance.

For peak hours, the entry of unit 3 of CTE Ernesto Guevara with 60 MW and the entry of unit 4 of CTE Antonio Maceo with 60 MW is forecast.

An availability of 2,330 MW and a maximum demand of 2,650 MW are estimated for peak hours, for a deficit of 320 MW, so if the forecast conditions continue, an affectation of 390 MW is forecast.

The UNE apologizes for the inconvenience caused and ensures that all measures to restrict consumption in the state sector are implemented.
